MONDAY MORNING IS HEREโ€ฆPlan accordingly.

Someone is going to miss the bus. Someone will forget a lunchbox or bag. When it comes to morning chaos, Monday remains undefeated.

Give yourself a few extra minutes. Slow down, stop for school buses with red lights flashing, and put the phone down.

Letโ€™s make sure these students get to school safely this morning.

For the first time, an additional moment of silence will honor those who survived September 11 but later died from illnesses and injuries connected to the toxic conditions they encountered during the rescue, recovery and aftermath.

It is a powerful reminder that the human cost of September 11 did not end that day.

Hundreds of thousands participated in rescue, recovery and relief efforts. They were firefighters and police officers. Paramedics and EMTs. Nurses and doctors. Construction and sanitation workers. Military personnel. Dispatchers. Volunteers.

Some searched for survivors.
Some cared for the injured.
Some moved debris, bucket by bucket.
Some simply showed up and asked, โ€œ๐‡๐จ๐ฐ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ˆ ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฉ?โ€

Twenty-five years later, we remember those who ran in. Those who stayed. Those who came in the days and months afterward.

If youโ€™re out driving around right now and reading thisโ€ฆ

Thatโ€™s enough internet for you.

Eyes up. Put the phone down. Drive the car.

Itโ€™s the same old song and dance, day in and day out. We stop yโ€™all for speeding or blowing a stop sign, and yโ€™all say, โ€œYeah, I saw the stop sign, so what??โ€ or โ€œIโ€™m in a hurry to get home to watch Love Island!โ€โ€ฆ.Well, a giraffeโ€™s coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of its throat. Did yโ€™all ever think about that? No, you didnโ€™t because yโ€™all only think about yourselves.

Slow down. Stop at the stop signs. Live long enough to enjoy life.

Today we celebrate Labor Day, a national holiday dedicated to honoring the contributions, hard work, and achievements of workers across America. Itโ€™s a day to recognize the people whose dedication keeps our communities safe and moving forward. To our educators, healthcare workers, tradespeople, small business owners, first responders, and every other resident who shows up and puts in the work day after day, we say thank you!

Hoping you all can enjoy a safe and restful Labor Day with family, friends, and neighbors.

Hoping to start off your Labor Day weekend with a good laugh! Be safe and make good choices ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€โš–๏ธ

HAPPY SATURDAY, MILLERSBURG! ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ’™

The weekend has officially arrived, yโ€™all! ๐Ÿ™Œ Whether youโ€™re sleeping in, running errands, tackling that honey-do list, or just enjoying a little peace and quietโ€”make the most of it!

Hug your people, laugh a little, and enjoy the day. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

And as always, keep an eye out for one another, buckle up, slow down, and make good choices. Weโ€™d really love to see everybody back here after the 3 day weekend! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Have a safe, happy, and blessed Saturday, folks! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ’™

Itโ€™s finally Friday! ๐ŸŽ‰

We made it through another week! Our coffee is strong, our patience is hanging on by a paper clip, and the weekend is so close we can practically hear Saturday calling. โ˜•๐Ÿ˜‚

As you head out to work or just run some normal final weekday errands, remember:

โœ… Buckle upโ€”wrinkles can be ironed out, people canโ€™t.
โœ… Slow downโ€”Friday is not going anywhere.
โœ… Put the phone awayโ€”that message will still be there when you arrive.
โœ… Make good choicesโ€”orange may be a popular fall color, but itโ€™s not everyoneโ€™s best look. ๐Ÿ‘€

Have fun, stay safe, and please donโ€™t make your weekend plans include paperwork with us. We already have enough! ๐Ÿ˜‚
