September 11, 2001 – the day the world seemed to stop turning. A day when our nation came together in unity, compassion, and resilience. Thousands of lives were lost, and every year we continue to lose more to illnesses tied to the recovery efforts at Ground Zero. We will never forget.
Today, our Junior members honored that sacrifice by taking part in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Kroger Field in Lexington. All five participated—and all five completed the climb.
We could not be prouder of their dedication, growth, and drive. Each one chose to take on this challenge, not for themselves, but to honor those who were lost. That kind of spirit is what this program is all about.
