🏁 Saturday Night at the Races! 🏁

Miller Place Fire Department hit the Riverhead Racetrack Saturday night with Car #52, representing 1952 for the year the Miller Place Fire Department was founded!

After a night of racing, LT Tom Pamatat brought the #52 home with a 12th place finish out of 24 cars! A HUGE shoutout to Capt. Kyle Matura, who put in a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes and was right there helping get car #52 ready to hit the track

And of course… it wouldn’t be a race without a little excitement! We might have lost a light, but we definitely didn’t loose focus! And we got to see SCPD helicopter fly over!

Officers of our junior company Ashley Menechella and Bobby Basile, along with participant Blayke Pamatat, had the opportunity to deliver 55 care kits made for our healthcare heroes at Mather Hospital!

They were able to meet some amazing and important members of the Mather Hospital team, share our appreciation, and personally deliver the bags.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these kits possible!
