On Tuesday June 16th, starting at 10 a.m. the City of Millen Utility Department will have the water turned off for A Street to make improvements in the area . The City of Millen is aware, and wanted to inform our citizens that there are some streets that were missed yesterday for garbage pickup. These streets are Tarrymore streets, Grimm Ave, Marolyn Cir, Progress Place, Odum St, part of Harvey St, Ada Dr and Dekle Ave. The garbage truck broke down yesterday and was unable to finish their route. Another truck will be in the City today finishing yesterday's route and completing today's route. We apologize and appreciate your patience and understanding.

On Wednesday June 10th at approximately 8AM the City of Millen will temporarily turn the water off to the area around Millen Peanut Company to replace the fire hydrant at their driveway. We do not anticipate having any residential services disconnected but this may cause rusty water in the area. Please refrain from doing any laundry from 8AM until 5PM on this day.
