UPDATE:
New solicitor permit was issued for today May 13, 2026, to the same solicitor as yesterday.

Solicitor permit was issued to Surf Internet for May 12, 2026. This permit is not an endorsement of any service or product by the Village of Milledgeville nor is the solicitor employed by the Village of Milledgeville.

The Village of Milledgeville would like to remind citizens solicitation hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; October 1st through April 30th and 9 am to 7 pm May 1st through September 30th. Weekend and holiday hours are prohibited in the Village.

Recently the Village of Milledgeville held a contest for our ad in the fair book and with the help of Mrs. Jordan the art teacher at the Chadwick-Milledgeville School, our contest was a success.

Board members voted and the results were:
8th Grade - Laikin Stanley - Fair Book Ad, $20, and a voucher for a one-day pass to the fair.
10th Grade - Kennedy Livengood - Facebook banner picture this summer and $20.

5th Grade - Bryleigh Bleuer
6th Grade - Emilie Rahn
7th Grade - Bailey Lawyer

The board would like to say THANK YOU to all of the participants, Mrs. Jordan, and the Chadwick-Milledgeville School because without them it would not have been possible. We hope this is the start of a new tradition!
