Habitat for Humanity Milledgeville-Baldwin County We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

Habitat for Humanity Milledgeville-Baldwin County is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. With the help of our generous donors and hard-working volunteers, we are able to help provide affordable housing and resources to those in need. Milledgeville/Baldwin County (HFHMBC) was incorporated in 1994 and completed its first home in 1996. By 2002, 11 homes

were completed and in 2018, the 19th house was built. We are currently in the process of planning a new Habitat home to be finished in the Spring of 2023! In Georgia, 1 in 7 households spend more than half of their income on housing. The affordable housing crisis is dire and getting worse. We need your help to continue serving hard working Baldwin County residents seeking a hand up. Your gift today means families have a stable foundation on which to build a future & keep their house safe through home repairs for the elderly & disabled.

What’s better than a pickleball tournament benefiting affordable housing in Milledgeville-Baldwin County? A build day before it!! 🛠️🏠💙

In partnership with Milly Pickleball, we’re launching the Home Court 2026 Pickleball Tournament @ Milly — a day of competition, community, and purpose… plus an opportunity to get on-site and make an impact before the first serve!

👉 Tournament Player Build Day
📅 Friday, May 15
🕐 1:00–4:00 PM
Roll up your sleeves and help us build alongside future homeowners—no experience needed, just a willingness to serve!

• Mixed Doubles

Macon Area Habitat for Humanity has received a $35,000 grant from Publix Charities! Their generosity helps us continue building safe, decent, affordable homes for families in Macon‑Bibb, Jones and Milledgeville-Baldwin Counties.

Publix has long been a loyal partner to Habitat organizations across the country, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support here at home. Their commitment goes far beyond funding — their employees show up year after year as dedicated volunteers, bringing energy, teamwork, and heart to the build site.

This year, Publix teams are also joining us as part of Women Build, helping empower women leaders (and supporters) and strengthen our community through service.
