We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

Habitat for Humanity Milledgeville-Baldwin County is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. With the help of our generous donors and hard-working volunteers, we are able to help provide affordable housing and resources to those in need. Milledgeville/Baldwin County (HFHMBC) was incorporated in 1994 and completed its first home in 1996. By 2002, 11 homes were completed and in 2018, the 19th house was built. We are currently in the process of planning a new Habitat home to be finished in the Spring of 2023! In Georgia, 1 in 7 households spend more than half of their income on housing. The affordable housing crisis is dire and getting worse. We need your help to continue serving hard working Baldwin County residents seeking a hand up. Your gift today means families have a stable foundation on which to build a future & keep their house safe through home repairs for the elderly & disabled.

As we shared earlier this week, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity Milledgeville-Baldwin County are officially joining together as Macon Milledgeville Regional Habitat for Humanity!

We're excited to continue serving both of our beloved communities as one stronger organization, expanding our impact and helping more families achieve affordable homeownership across the region.

A new chapter begins.

Today, we're excited to officially announce that Macon Area Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity Milledgeville-Baldwin County have merged to become Macon Milledgeville Regional Habitat for Humanity.

This merger builds on a successful partnership that began in 2024 and allows us to expand affordable homeownership opportunities across Central Georgia. Together, we're creating a stronger organization with the capacity to serve more families, revitalize more neighborhoods, and make an even greater impact in the communities we call home.

While our name is changing, our mission remains the same to ensure everyone has a safe, decent, affordable place to live.

Over the coming months, you'll begin seeing our new name on our website, social media, emails, and signage. We can't wait to share what this next chapter holds.

Thank you to our homeowners, volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters who have made this milestone possible. Here's to building even more homes, community and hope—together.

We had so much fun last Friday with Milly Pickleball for a night of Pickling for a Purpose! We were able to raise funds for our mission while playing a few rounds of Pickleball along with some Poker!

Thank you to everyone in Milledgeville for joining us and to volunteers and staff with Milly Pickleball! We couldn't do it without you!

Today we had the honor of closing on not one but two houses today in Milledgeville. Congratulations to the Myrick and Webb families on this massive achievement! We know that both of these house will be filled with love and laughter for many years to come. Be sure to congratulate our new homeowners as they start the next chapter of their lives!

Construction is almost done at our projects on Ross Ave! We look forward to knowing two beautiful families will soon call these home!

Thank you to GCSU Honors College for helping us with the finishing touch. We’ve been proud to host them several times at Ross and look forward to next semester!

What’s better than a pickleball tournament benefiting affordable housing in Milledgeville-Baldwin County? A build day before it!! 🛠️🏠💙

In partnership with Milly Pickleball, we’re launching the Home Court 2026 Pickleball Tournament @ Milly — a day of competition, community, and purpose… plus an opportunity to get on-site and make an impact before the first serve!

Roll up your sleeves and help us build alongside future homeowners—no experience needed, just a willingness to serve!
