Bev Uipi Millcreek City Councilwoman

Bev Uipi Millcreek City Councilwoman Bev Uipi is City Councilwoman in District 4 for Millcreek. Please 'like' the Millcreek City Facebook I am seeking re-election November 2021.

As one of the original City Council members, I collaborated with colleagues, residents, and community partnerships to establish Millcreek as a new city. I am currently Council lead for the Policing in Millcreek matters and serve as Mayor Pro Tem. Our Uipi family has lived in Millcreek District 4 for almost 40 years. I am a proud, single mom of 17-year old, Xane. My strengths come from 20 years of

experience in leadership having served as Deputy Director for the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole; leading the Millcreek Community Center to accreditation, and Community Relations for Mayor Peter Corroon; with a B.S. degrees from the University of Georgia and Master’s from the University of Utah. My values with informed decision-making are compassion, community engagement, fiscal responsibility, transparency, and being a voice for seniors, children, non-traditional family structures, and diverse matters within Millcreek and for the future of our community. All city issues are important to me, but my focus are mainly in these areas:
Mental Health/Suicide Prevention
Public Safety
Community Engagement
Transparent Fiscal Responsibility
Economic Development

Vote Bev Uipi as your 1st choice on your ballots this November 2nd!

Residents with deep roots in District 4 continue to maintain our neighborhood Upper Millcreek Park. Thanks to John Melville for being my point of contact for this area, the pictures, and for the many neighbors who keep this an annual clean-up event. I appreciate you! 💜

Please share with neighbors. This year's heat and drought is causing concerns around fires, specifically in east neighborhoods of Millcreek. If you know of any fireworks happening in restricted areas, please call UPD dispatch at 801-840-4000 to report.

🚨New Fireworks Restriction Zone Adopted!🚨

At the recommendation of the UFA Fire Marshal, Millcreek had adopted the 2026 fireworks restriction map. The map includes all areas restricted in 2025, which includes everything east of 900 East and west of 700 West, with the addition of Scott Avenue and Sunnyvale Parks. The additional areas include between 700 East and 900 East from Empire Avenue to 3300 South due to dry vegetation and densely populated residential areas.

Stay safe and celebrate responsibly!
