As one of the original City Council members, I collaborated with colleagues, residents, and community partnerships to establish Millcreek as a new city. I am currently Council lead for the Policing in Millcreek matters and serve as Mayor Pro Tem. Our Uipi family has lived in Millcreek District 4 for almost 40 years. I am a proud, single mom of 17-year old, Xane. My strengths come from 20 years of
experience in leadership having served as Deputy Director for the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole; leading the Millcreek Community Center to accreditation, and Community Relations for Mayor Peter Corroon; with a B.S. degrees from the University of Georgia and Master’s from the University of Utah. My values with informed decision-making are compassion, community engagement, fiscal responsibility, transparency, and being a voice for seniors, children, non-traditional family structures, and diverse matters within Millcreek and for the future of our community. All city issues are important to me, but my focus are mainly in these areas:
Mental Health/Suicide Prevention
Public Safety
Community Engagement
Transparent Fiscal Responsibility
Economic Development
