Today we kicked off our third year of "Sound Off with the Home Fire Safety Patrol" with the second and third graders! We talked about fire safety today and will be in the classrooms the next two Mondays as well talking about dangers in the home and fire escape plans! Ask your second or third grade student what they learned today!

Thank you VFW post 9963 (Walbridge) and Dickey's Barbecue Pit for providing lunch and dinner for their 2026 National Day of Service! They provided food for Lake Township Fire, Lake Township Police and Walbridge Police Department. Thank you again and we apperciate it!

We have partnered with Safe Kids Greater Toledo to participate in Recycle to the Max collecting aluminum cans. The money raised helps to support safety initiatives in the community including Safety to the Max. These recycle bins are located throughout Northwest Ohio at participating Fire Department's.

Safe Kids Greater Toledo is a coalition led by Promedica and dedicated to preventing childhood injuries through education, advocacy and community engagement! Lake Twp Fire has been a part of this coalition for a couple of years and we are happy to be able to help further fire prevention and education.

The community is invited to bring aluminum cans to the recycle bin. The bin is located behind the Walbridge station at 4505 East Union Walbridge, Ohio.

We want to Thank Safe Kids Greater Toledo and Klumm Brothers for this oppertunity.
