Now that spring has arrived, the bulletin board in the Children's Room is in "full bloom". We decorated the entire board with paper cut-outs of all things spring - flowers, raindrops, bees, rainbows and more. The flowers are made out of pages of actual books, skillfully folded into the shape of the petals. Check it out on your next visit to the Children's Room and remember "spring showers, read for hours"!

Last week the library welcomed Reeves-Reed Arboretum to host a program about a very sweet topic - honeybees! Kids explored the roles of bees inside the hive, how they make honey, the ways bees communicate, and more. Kids also learned about healthy ecosystems and participated in hands-on activities. Many thanks to Reeves-Reed for visiting and sharing their knowledge with us.
