National Police Week is observed each year to recognize the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers across the nation, while honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It is a time for remembrance, reflection, and appreciation for the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities every day.
During National Police Week, the Village of Millbrook Police Department proudly recognizes Police Officer Anthony Morrone for representing VMPD while riding with Honor 37, the New York Division of Law Enforcement United (LEU).
Honor 37 is a dedicated group of law enforcement officers who participate in an annual ride during National Police Week to honor fallen law enforcement heroes and raise funds in support of their surviving families. The organization is named in memory of the 37 Port Authority Police Officers who tragically lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
We are proud of Officer Morrone for taking part in this meaningful tribute and representing the Village of Millbrook Police Department with honor and dedication.
Officer Morrone rode in Honor of City of Poughkeepsie Police Officer, John Falcone and Town of Newburgh Police Officer, Billy McLean.
