Blackstone Valley Young Marines The Young Marines is a leadership and drug reduction program for kids 8-18.

The Young Marines strengthens the lives of America’s youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring our veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building and leadership and promotes a lifestyle that is conducive to being productive members of society.

Congratulations YM LCpl Nicholas Ronzio!! He successfully completed Junior Leadership School at the Young Marines National Leadership Academy on Camp Rilea, OR. After a week full of evaluations on uniform, physical fitness, leadership, academics, and drill he returns home. Our unit is grateful to have this Junior Leader!!

Happy Saturday! Today our Young Marines are weeding the town memorial in Bellingham. It turned into a lesson on conservation when one Young Marine discovered a den of week old bunnies!! 🐰🐇
We followed best conservation practices and returned the baby bunnies to their nest with minimal contact and moved our Young Marines away from that part of the memorial. (Mrs. Fagan was just glad it wasn’t baby snakes.)

We are starting a new recruit class! It starts in one month(February 16th) We will be having a few open houses the next three weeks! The open houses will be held at 730pm on January 26th, February 2nd, and February 9th. We hold the open houses at 50 Maple St, Milford, MA 01757. We'll see you there!
