Today: Serves up to 34 (total) single men, single women and mothers with children in its 90-day temporary shelter, hundreds daily at its Soup Kitchen and assists an additional (2) single and (3) family households by providing case management services through its Supportive Housing collaborative. Our clients include; veterans, elderly and people working through unemployment, illness, catastrophic events, addictions and emotional problems

Friends,

This Wish List supports the individuals who are currently unsheltered and continuing to rebuild stability after one of the harshest winters Connecticut has ever seen.

These men and women have survived extreme conditions.

Many of them are still navigating encampments and relying on street outreach.

These items go directly toward helping them survive and move through the day safely and with dignity.

In addition to the below “Immediate Needs”, we also have a few “Hopeful Needs”:

🌌Sleeping Bags
🌌Camping Equipment

These “Hopeful Needs” will go directly toward helping individuals who lost their precious belongings during the harsh winter storms rebuild.

Thank you for being here and helping us ensure EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL in the greater Milford area is met with kindness, dignity, and respect.

All items can be either dropped off or shipped to the Beth-El Center at 90 New Haven Ave in Milford. Drop off is ANY TIME! There is always someone waiting at our front desk to greet you.

Many individuals choose to ship items via their Amazon account to us because it is a super convenient way to help. This is wonderful! Please make sure you clearly label that they are to be used for “Outreach” so we ensure they end up where they need to be.

If you can’t help through donating, it is also SUPER HELPFUL to like, comment, or share this post! This amplifies our voice and makes sure we potentially reach others who can help who would otherwise not know about us and the services we provide.

Thank you for coming out last night and being part of such a special evening.

After Hours at TRIBUS is an event we look forward to every year…

It is an evening filled with connection, fun, delicious beer, and SO MUCH JOY!

This year was extra special.

Not only did we come together and honor our amazing Community Stars - Hannah Smith and Matthew Loverci - but we celebrated our incredible Community Kitchen Manager - Carolyn Swanson Miller… who is retiring!

And perhaps, most importantly, we were able to raise $5,055 for our Community Kitchen… a cherished space where EVERYONE is home and ALL are fed!

This was such a memorable evening because of all of you (and especially because of Emily McDonough Souza & Tim Gomer who work tirelessly every year to put this together)…

It is because of this incredible community that we are able to continue to serve the most vulnerable families, veterans, and individuals…

The Center would truly not be the same without all of your smiling faces.

We want to express our gratitude for every single individual who took time out of their evening last night to show up for us and donate. Over 120 of you donated through The Great Give Portal during the 7PM giving window... This is truly incredible!

Unfortunately, we were not able to secure the $2,000 prize, which went to Whitney Players Theater Company who had over 287 unique donors! Congratulations to Whitney Players!

But it's not over... we still have today until 8PM to finish strong.

Out of every organization, we are now number 10 on the Unique Donor Leader Board, with 201 donors and $12,635 raised! This is amazing! And the good news is, every donation that comes in through The Great Give Portal…
