This weekend!!! 🎆 The 2026 Kickoff to Summer Fireworks will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Lisman Landing!

🎵 The band Sapphire will start at 5:00PM, the Rum Runners start at 7:30PM 🎆 Fireworks start at 9:15PM.

🍕🌭 FOOD TRUCKS:
Italian Ices of CT, The Plate, Paradise Island, Szabo’s Seafood, Silver Sands Pizza, Al Pastor Tacos, Walter’s Hot Dogs

🅿️ PARKING & SHUTTLES:
Free shuttles offered 4:00-11:30PM, stopping at the following parking lots: Harborside Middle School, Wasson Field, Milford Senior Center, Milford Academy, and the Downtown Milford Parking Garage.
--- There will be NO parking available behind the library, at the harbor, Lisman Landing, or at the Coast Guard.

Announcing the first annual Summer Co****le Classic!
The tournament will take place on Saturday, June 27th in the lower parking lot of Eisenhower Park. Check-in will start at 9:30am and games will start at 10am. This tournament is bracket style and double-elimination.
It costs $20 for Milford residents and $35 for non-residents (per person).
The tournament is split into 2 divisions, the recreation division and the competitive division. The competitive division is made for more experienced players who want serious competition and intense match-ups. The recreation division is designed for less experienced players who are looking for some friendly competition and the chance to have fun with friends and other members of the community!

Summer is almost here!☀️ The splash pad at Eisenhower Park will open on Monday, June 15, 2026 (weather permitting) - just in time to celebrate the end of the school year! 🎉
Located at 780 North Street and will be open 11:00am-6:00pm.

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY 🚨

Please expect traffic delays along the Boston Post Road today between 3:00 PM and 4:15 PM as the Special Olympics Torch Run passes through our area.

The run will begin at the Stratford town line at 3:00 PM and travel westbound along the Post Road, ending at the Orange town line shortly after 4:00 PM.

Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow for extra travel time.

Get certified before summer starts! 🛟 Join our Lifeguard Certification Course - blended learning with online and in-person training. 🏊 Learn rescue skills, CPR, first aid, and more!

➡️ June 2026 Class:
Friday, June 19, 2026: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Saturday, June 20, 2026: 8:00am - 7:00pm
🛟 Participants must attend every class.
🛟Minimum age requirement is 15 years old. $350 for Milford Residents or $425 for non-residents. Participants who successfully complete this course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED valid for 2 years.

In observance of Memorial Day, the following Public Works schedule changes will be in effect:

**Monday, May 25**
Public Works will be closed.
The Transfer Station will also be closed.

**Tuesday, May 26**
Monday’s garbage and recycling routes will be collected.

**Wednesday, May 27**
Tuesday’s garbage and recycling routes will be collected.

**Thursday & Friday**
Regular garbage and recycling collection schedules will resume.
