TRAFFIC ALERT

On Saturday night MPD/MFD and DPW responded to a crash at the intersection of Elm St at Granite Towne Plaza for a vehicle vs a traffic light pole. The traffic light pole came down and will be replaced, we are asking that you drive with caution in this area since it will take several months to replace the light pole. As of today the traffic lights are on flash.

Thank you Ambulance crew for the great training !

This week we were proud to host our partners at the Milford Police Department for their CPR and First Aid training. Since police officers are out patrolling our community, they often are first to arrive on the scene of an emergency and can provide time critical, life-saving interventions such as CPR and hemorrhage control before EMS crews arrive. We are happy to support MPD in their mission to protect and serve our community!

After an investigation, the Milford Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Jonathan Stiles (DOB: 09/19/2007) of Milton, NH. He was arrested on June 3, 2026 and charged him with one count of Class A Misdemeanor Interference with Child Custody. Stiles was released and is scheduled to appear in Milford District Court on July 13, 2026.

***Update the juvenile was located*** Thank you for all the tips and information

MPD is looking for any information on the vehicle in the photo. We believe it could be a Toyota Prius which was travelling in the area of Savage Rd. and Whitten Rd. this week. This vehicle could possibly be involved in a missing juvenile case we are working on. If you know anyone who operates or owns a similar vehicle please let us know at 603-249-0630 X 317.

MPD had a great time at First Responders Day at MMS. We had a drone demonstration as well as a car stop demonstration for the students. We discussed what we look for on car stops as well as the dangers officers could face on a car stop. Some of the students were back up officers and some were suspects in the vehicle.

Coming Events:
5/23 and 24th Soccer Tournament at MCAA fields and Kayley Park expect traffic delays on North River Rd and Nashua St
5/23- Arcidi Trout Fishing Derby from 8am-4pm at 431 Elm St.
5/25- Memorial Day Parade starts on West St by Crosby St,then continues to Elm St, to Oval, to Mont Vernon St and then finishes at the VFW. Starts at 10AM, Oval will be closed to vehicle traffic for the parade, follow detours around the parade route.
