𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: All after-school activities are cancelled on Thursday, April 23 due to the weather in the area tonight. The 2026 Geary County Schools USD 475 State of Education Celebration has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 28 at 7 p.m.

Please note that the Junction City High School USD 475 FFA Chapter Plant Sale has also been canceled tonight, but will reopen on Friday from 3 p.m. through 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lakers kicked off State assessments with a fun-filled teacher versus student competition! Staff and students participated in activities like tic-tac-toe, math fact knockout, and a puzzle relay!

Lakers and their families showed up on Tuesday for our McTeacher Night! We enjoyed getting to see everyone, serve dinner, and see the restaurant filled with Lakers! We had an excellent turn out and raised enough money to purchase our washer and dryer! Big thank you to all our families and even bigger thank you to McDonald's for having this fundraiser for us!

Miss Wallace's class had the most students show up with their coupons and won free ice cream for her class!
