Milford Housing Development Corporation MHDC is a mission-driven housing developer with a sensible approach in a caring environment for people of modest means.

We are known for our open-minded approach, commitment to quality, and have a caring and sound passion for all. Currently, MHDC owns thirty affordable rental complexes and oversees the management of more than 2,000 affordable rental units. In addition, MHDC is the only agency operating the Self-Help Housing Program in Delaware. MHDC has developed over 210 Self-Help homes in Delaware; thereby assist

ing over 210 families realize their dream homeownership. Whether its rental housing for seniors or people with disabilities, emergency home repairs, or first-time home for low- to moderate-income families, MHDC handles every aspect of housing construction. This includes acquiring the land, securing the appropriate zoning and permits, preparing building plans, warehouse materials, completing site preparation and overseeing or handling construction. MHDC is a one-stop shop for all needs of affordable housing solutions.

Summer camp registration is open!

First State Community Action Agency’s FREE Summer Camp will run from June 29 through July 30 for children ages 5–12.

This summer, campers will enjoy active play, creative arts, hands-on science, exciting field trips, and a safe place to learn, grow, and have fun.

Camp locations and times:

Georgetown: 8 AM–1 PM
Burton Village: 10 AM–1 PM
Bridgeville: 9 AM–12 PM
Slaughter Neck: 1 PM–4 PM
