Evergreen will be offline Saturday, Jan. 31-Sunday, Feb. 1. This means you won't be able to search the catalog, download from Libby, request materials, or renew books. *Please use the Libby app to download ebooks, etc., prior to January 31.* The library will still be open for our normal hours on Saturday the 31st, and you'll be able to check materials out. Everything should be back to normal by Monday, Feb. 2.

Our first Winter Story Time celebrating Dinosaurs was held today with everyone enjoying stories, making dinosaur feet to wear and pretend to be prehistoric creatures, and enjoying a special snack fit for a hungry dinosaur! What fun!

Our first Adult Reading Program winner for 2026 is Jodi Ge**er, pictured here with her prize of a grocery gift card, hot/cold food storage bag, and a hardcover book. Congratulations to Jodi! If you haven't signed up for our Adult Reading Program yet, there's still plenty of time to do so as we will continue the program through the end of March.

Our December Lego Crew winner is Aubrey Granger. Congratulations to Aubrey and her winning design of a lego candy cane! January's challenge is to make a penguin. You have until January 26 to turn in your design. Good luck and have fun!

The Adult Reading Program has begun and we already have our first weekly winner! Check out these great prizes you can win just for reading! Sign up in the Adult Department and keep track of the number of books you read or listen to; then fill out a drawing slip for each item. Each Friday a name will be drawn and that person can spin the wheel to see which prize they've won. It's simple and easy to do, so stop by the Milford Library today and join in the fun!

If you attended the Library's Cookies for Santa program in December and had your family's picture taken with Santa, those pictures are now available to pick up in the Children's Department.

The Winter Adult Reading Club has begun, and we encourage any of our patrons 18 years of age or older to stop by and sign up to participate. It's easy to do--just read! The program continues through the end of March with weekly drawings for a chance to win some great prizes!
