SWATTING INCIDENT
On 05/11/2026 at approximately 12:27 officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired inside of the 600 Cafe. The caller was reported to have been hiding inside the bathroom. Officers responded and secured the area. Officers and South Eastern MT Dispatch worked together and quickly determined this call to be unfounded. These false 911 calls, often referred to as "SWATTING" incidents, are detrimental to public safety resources. Miles City Police will be investigating the source of this call. It is a criminal offense to make such false reports.

This week we held a murder mystery where our dispatcher Jodie was murdered in our Florida trailer park.
Today, we read all the evidence and found out our supervisor Lyne was our murderer!
This was a such a fun group activity to participate in dispatch!
We appreciate everyone who took the time to thank us and bring us goodies for Telecommunication’s Week. We look forward to another year of serving the wonderful communities of Miles City, Custer, Prairie, and Garfield Counties💛

All week we have been participating in a murder mystery for Telecommunication’s Week!

Today we held our first Chili Cookoff!
Congratulations to Mrs. Erika Tipps for winning first place! She wins the 2026 Trophy as well as $50.
