At CNADA, we believe safety should never depend on a zip code.
Many domestic violence programs can only serve people who live in the counties they are funded for. But when someone is fleeing violence, the most important thing is that they are safe.
At CNADA, we do not turn someone away simply because they crossed a county line. If someone needs help, we do everything we can to support themโbecause safety is a human right.
Right now, with a lapse in some funding, there are just two advocates hustling every day to make sure victims still have somewhere to turn. Crisis calls, safety planning, court support, stocking the pantry, writing grants, organizing fundraisersโwe do it all because survivors deserve the chance to rebuild their lives.
But we truly could not do this without the incredible support of our community.
