Grant County SD Emergency Management will be conducting siren tests in all Grant County Communities on Wednesday April 15th. We will be testing the Volunteer Fire Alerting first, 10:00 AM, then the storm siren 2nd 10:15AM. Please listen closely to determine the difference.

---10:00 AM The Fire Alerting Siren is a wavering tone that runs 15 seconds or less
-- 10:15 AM The Storm Siren is a steady blast running for an extended period of time.
-- note: these siren rotate on poles.

Now is also a good time to sign up, if you havn't on the Code Red Alerting System.
A post will follow on that.
