Receiving funding from the state of Tennessee is a monumental step forward for Milan. Receiving these FastTrack funds not only accelerates our ability to secure this land from the U.S. Army, but it also lays the groundwork for a new era of industrial development in our city.
We’re incredibly grateful to Senator John Stevens and Representative Brock Martin for their unwavering support for this project. Their support shows a strong commitment to job creation and economic growth right here in Gibson County.
This land has served our country in the past, and now it’s being repurposed to serve our local economy. We look forward to turning it into a hub for innovation, manufacturing, and opportunity.
This is not just about land—it’s about securing a future for our children and grandchildren.

We’re thrilled to announce the ribbon cutting for McKellar Park—our city’s first new park in 50 years! This is a momentous occasion for our community, made possible by a state grant that allowed us to complete the first phase of this incredible project.
The vision for McKellar Park is just beginning! Future phases will bring even more amenities for our community to enjoy, including:
🏀 Basketball courts
🛹 A skate park
🏓 Pickleball courts
🛝 A fun and safe playground for our children
This park is more than just a place; it’s a space for connection, activity, and memories for generations to come. 💛
