As previously shared in notices sent this spring, we’ve made a few updates to make paying online and in person more convenient.

You can now take advantage of our new payment options, including eChecks for online payments.

For payment flexibility, please note that card payments—whether made online or in person—include a processing fee. eChecks are available for online payments only.

We’re excited to offer these new options and make the payment process easier and more convenient for everyone!

🚨 BOIL ORDER NOTICE 🚨

A boil order is currently in effect for the following areas:

📍 400 and 500 blocks of 12th Avenue W, 13th Avenue W, and 14th Avenue W
📍 1200 and 1300 blocks of 4th Street W and 5th Street W

Residents in the affected areas may experience total loss of water service while crews are actively working to make repairs and restore water service.

Once restored, residents should boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, or any other consumption purposes until further notice.

We will provide an update once the boil order has been lifted. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

The Village of Milan is updating its Comprehensive Plan—a long-term guide that helps shape future growth, land use, infrastructure, public services, parks, and community investments over the next 10–15 years.

As part of the update process, a Comprehensive Plan Visioning Workshop will be held:

We're taking a little break to celebrate Independence Day! Our office will be closed on Friday, July 3.

🗑️ Holiday Pickup Reminder:
⭐ Friday's garbage pickup will be moved to Monday.
♻️ Monday's garbage and recycling pickup will stay on its regular schedule.

Village Hall will be closed today in observance of Juneteenth.

🗑️ Garbage Collection:
If your regular garbage pickup day is today, your collection will take place on Monday.

All other garbage collection schedules will remain unchanged.

♻️ Recycling collection will continue on Monday as scheduled.

🚰 BOIL ORDER LIFTED 6/5/2026 🚰

Good news! Following completion of the water main repairs and continued monitoring of the water system, it has been confirmed that water pressure remained within safe operating levels throughout the event.

As a result, the boil order for the 400 and 500 blocks of Blackhawk Avenue has been lifted, and residents may resume normal water use immediately.

Thank you to our utility crews for their quick response and hard work, and thank you to our residents for their cooperation throughout the process.

Due to a water main break, a boil water order has been issued for the 400 and 500 blocks of Blackhawk Ave.

Important: Please boil all water for at least 5 minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.

❗BOIL ORDER HAS BEEN LIFTED❗

🚨 Boil Order Notice 🚨

Due to a hydrant replacement, a boil order is now in effect for residents located in the 100 to 700 blocks from 28th Avenue West to 34th Avenue West. This includes the Hillcrest, Candlelight, and Shadow Wood additions.

Until further notice, all water used for drinking and cooking should be boiled for at least 5 minutes prior to use.
