The City of Milan, Missouri is accepting bids to cut, rake, bale, and remove hay from designated City-owned properties.

Properties include:

📍Lake Elmwood — approximately 10 acres
📍Wastewater Treatment Plant approximately 10 acres
📍NE of Forest Grove Park — approximately 4 acres

💲Bidders must state the amount payable per acre to the City for the hay rights.

This position plays an important role in protecting public health, safety, and quality of life throughout our community through animal control services, nuisance enforcement, code compliance, and community engagement.

✅ BOIL ORDER UPDATE – CITY OF MILAN WATER CUSTOMERS

The boil order for City of Milan water customers has been lifted with the exception of customers located on Infirmary Road.

Customers on Infirmary Road should continue boiling all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, food preparation, and ice making until further notice.

Additional updates regarding the status of the boil order for Infirmary Road customers will be provided as soon as they become available.

⚠️BOIL ORDER UPDATE – CITY OF MILAN WATER CUSTOMERS⚠️

As of this time, the boil order issued for all City of Milan water customers remains in effect.

Customers should continue boiling all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, ice making, and food preparation for at least three (3) minutes before use.

The order will remain in place until required testing is completed and the water system is cleared. We will notify the public immediately once the boil order has been lifted.
