Tomorrow (Saturday) is the first day for children and teens to receive Summer Reading Adventure prizes! Youth who have read or listened to books for at least 10 days or 5 hours are ready for their first prize: ice cream for children and a flurry for teens, both from Dairy Barn. If you don't eat ice cream, ask us for an alternate prize.

Looking ahead, our ticket #2 prize is a free dessert from McDonald's, and our ticket #3 prize is a free junior pizza from Hungry Howie's.

If you are ready for a prize and can't come to the library tomorrow, fill out the prize form listed on your reading log and we'll leave your prize at the circulation desk for you to pick up the next time you come to the library.

We will be closed tomorrow (Friday, June 19) in observance of Juneteenth. Stop by today to check out any books, movies, games, puzzles, or more that you'll want for tomorrow. We will be open with regular hours on Saturday.

Join us for Teacher Tales with Ms. Creech and Ms. Hagley this evening at 5:30 P.M. at the library.

All children (and their grown-ups) - from ANY school - are welcome. Books and activities are planned for ages 5 through 5th grade.

Ms. Creech and Ms. Hagley will each read a fun picture book and then you'll create a related craft project.

It will be a busy first week of our Summer READing Adventure: Read, Explore, And Discover!

Monday (and all summer!):

Adults: "Choose Your Own Challenges" to earn prizes. Visit our website for the choices and additional information.

Children and teens: Read or listen to books to earn prizes! Pick up a reading log from the library to get started. Symons students received joint school/library reading and math logs from school and Paddock families received a digital copy of the log. We also have copies at the library.

Tuesday:
Page Turners Book Club (6th - 8th grade) at 4:45
High School Book Club (9th - 12th grade) at 6:30

Wednesday:
Tiny Tales (0, 1, and 2 years), choose 9:15 or 10:30
Bookworms (2nd - 3rd grade) at 4:45

Thursday:
Unearth Your Artistic Side (3rd - 5th grade) at 1:30

Friday:
Storytime (3-5 years) at 10:30

Saturday:
Tiny Tales ((0, 1, and 2 years) at 10:30
