🚜🌲 Volunteers Needed for Trails Day 2026 at Mille Lacs County ORV Park! 🌲🚜
Join MN4WDA for a hands-on volunteer day helping improve trails and facilities at Mille Lacs County ORV Park.

This year’s projects include:
🪵 Picnic Area Improvements
🛻 Trail Maintenance
🔧 Finishing the Trailer Dismantling Project

Whether you can help for a couple hours or the entire day, your time makes a difference. Volunteers help keep trails open, parks improving, and responsible recreation moving forward in Minnesota.

🥪 Lunch & bottled water provided for volunteers.
🎁 Volunteers completing 4+ hours of service will receive an exclusive MN4WDA Custom Splice Soft Shackle while supplies last.
Limit one volunteer reward per person per year.

Mille Lacs County is hosting two upcoming opportunities for residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste.

📍 Milaca Event: 565 8th St NE (Mille Lacs County Public Works Buidling)
🗓 June 3rd
⏰ 2:00 – 6:00 PM

📍 Wahkon Event: 6813 MN Hwy 27, Wahkon (Mille Lacs County Public Works North Building)
🗓 June 10th
⏰ 2:00 – 6:00 PM

Bring your household items like cleaners, paints, pesticides, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, and more to ensure they are disposed of safely and responsibly at no cost.

Appliances: $25/ appliance
Electronics: $20/ TV or Monitor | $2/ small electronic device
⚠️ Items NOT accepted:
• Business waste
• Unknown materials
• Sharps
• Pharmaceuticals
• Antifreeze
• Used motor oil
• Tires
• Garbage
