Motherhood is a calling. Today, we honor: The Mothers with full arms – We see your devotion and the way you love your children every day; The Mothers with aching arms – To those whose children are celebrating in the arms of Jesus today, we see your strength; The Mothers-in-Waiting – To those walking the difficult path of infertility or longing, we see your hope and your heart; The Spiritual Mothers – To the mentors who nurture, guide, and love, thank you for the way you pour into the next generation.

Motherhood began the moment a spark of life was placed within you, and that bond is never broken. Whether you are being pampered with breakfast in bed or spending the day in quiet reflection, please know that you are valued, you are chosen, and you are loved.

With the growing demand for ultrasounds, we have decided to train one of our current nurses in this area.

We recently joined a new coalition of Minnesota pregnancy centers that provides valuable resources such as ultrasound training. Heidi Vedders, a nurse with RRLCC since 2022, has completed a series of online modules through the coalition covering ultrasound techniques and their use within pregnancy centers.

Heidi also completed hands-on training with a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer who specializes in training nurses in this setting. This in‑person training took place in March at a pregnancy center in Maplewood, MN.

We are excited for Heidi to develop this new skill and continue serving women and families in our community.
