Alcona County Baby Pantry the Baby pantry is for pregnant moms at their 8th month and then infants through age 4 years.

Pantry is open FIRST TUESDAY OF MONTH 430PM-6PM AND WEDNESDAY 10AM-1PM...Items are available such as clothes, diapers, formula, some equipment.... The Alcona County Baby Pantry is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help children ages new born through age 4 years old in Alcona County with basic needs. These needs include; but are not limited to; things such as clothes (new and clean gen

tly used), formula, baby food, blankets, bottles, bath time essentials, and if we have them available various furniture and new car seats. The only way we are able to help the children of Alcona is through personal and business donations as well as fundraisers and raffles. 100% of monies earned go back to the kids.

Just got another notice from DHHS-Now the DHHS office in Harrisville will be closed today March 20th

Friday March 20, 2026 and Monday March 23, 2026

The MDHHS office in Alcona located at 402 E Main Street Harrisville, MI 48740 will be open to process requests for any who received food assistance and experienced a loss in food due to the ice storm. Staff will be on site both days from 9 am-4pm (closing from 12-1pm for lunch) These days are being added to the offices normal business days of Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. You can also request the form be mailed by calling 1-844-464-3447.



Please note Food Replacement must be requested within 10 days of the loss.
