The Milford Township Supervisors agreed to proceed with buying police coverage from Mifflin Borough. A contract will be prepared for Mifflin Borough's approval, then the township can approve it at our next meeting, Thursday, April 30th.

Milford Township Supervisors would like public input on using the Mifflin Borough police for 10 hours/week of police coverage in the township. The reasons for requesting this coverage are Township Code (ordinances) and speed limit enforcement. The Mifflin Borough police would also respond to any emergency calls that may come up while he is on duty. The cost is within the township’s budget with no increase in township taxes. The next township meeting is Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the township building.

Please Note: The Milford Township Board of Supervisors meetings are now being held at 6:30 p.m. at the township building instead of 7:30 p.m. as in the past. Still the last Thursday of every month.
