🔨 Exciting changes are underway!

The Mid-Del Food Pantry will be CLOSED this Wednesday due to construction improvements. While we’re taking a short pause, we’re working hard behind the scenes to make our facility even better for the families we serve.

If you’ve visited recently, you may notice things look a little different around here. Thanks to recent renovations, the pantry now has a refreshed exterior with updated paint, improved windows, and a brand-new deck and covered space to better serve our neighbors.

These updates help us create a more welcoming, functional space for the families who rely on us and the volunteers who make this mission possible.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time, talents, resources, and support to make this possible.

Working to make MDFP the best!

There’s something powerful about getting people in a room who are all working toward the same goal—serving our community.

Yesterday morning we had the privilege of hosting our bi-monthly Non-Profit Coffee Talk and we continue to be inspired by the collaboration, transparency, and heart that each organization brings to the table.

A special thank you to SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest for graciously hosting us. As a fellow non-profit, their commitment to community care goes far beyond healthcare, and it showed in the way they welcomed and supported this gathering.

Shoutout to Brittany Hussain, who serves as our non-profit liaison on the Chamber Board and leads Leah's Hope with such passion and purpose. Her leadership helps ensure that the voices and needs of our non-profit community are not only heard—but championed.

These meetings are more than updates—they’re a space to share wins, identify needs (whether that’s volunteers, resources, or partnerships), and spark ideas for larger community impact. Every time we come together, new opportunities emerge to support one another and better serve Midwest City.

If you’re part of a non-profit in our area and aren’t connected to this group yet, we’d love to change that. The work you’re doing matters, and there’s a seat at the table for you.
