Today, Midway City celebrates 135 years since its founding on June 1, 1891.

On this anniversary, we remember the determination, and hard work of the pioneers who settled this valley and built this community. Through long days, harsh winters, and countless challenges, they laid the foundation for the town we love today.

Their commitment to build community continues to shape Midway's character and inspire us as we look to the future.

Happy 135th Anniversary, Midway. Here's to honoring our past, celebrating our present, and building a strong future together.

The picture is coming together.

Painted tiles are being returned, and Midway’s America250 Community Mural is starting to take shape.

If you still have a tile at home, please return it by June 4 so it can be included in the final mural.

We also need volunteers to help assemble the mural from June 17 to 26. Whether you painted a tile or simply want to be part of the project, we would love your help. To see the progress and sign up to volunteer, please visit:

One Tile. One Community. One Midway.

Hey Midway, we need your help❗️
Join us Saturday, June 13 at 8:00 AM for a Midway Booster and Midway City community service event. Midway’s City Beautification & Arbor Day Celebration gives us an opportunity to come together to serve our community and help keep Midway beautiful.

Volunteers are invited to meet at Burgi Hill Park, Centennial Park, Hamlet Park, or the City Cemetery to help plant flowers and assist with community clean-up projects. Whether you can give an hour or the whole morning, your help makes a difference.

After the planting is complete, everyone is invited back to the Town Square Pavilion for a continental breakfast.

Please bring gloves and shovels.

This is a great opportunity to give back, work alongside neighbors and friends, and help grow a better Midway together. We hope to see you there!

Summer nights on the Square are back. 🎶

Music on the Square returns June 10 with live music every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM on Midway Town Square. Bring a chair or blanket, grab dinner from local food trucks, and enjoy a night out with neighbors, friends, and great live music in the heart of Midway.

This has quickly become one of Midway’s favorite summer traditions, and we can’t wait to kick off another season together.

What a way to begin. 🇺🇸

Red, White & Midway was an incredible kickoff to Midway’s America250 celebration year. From mural tile painting and passport collecting to great food and community connection, it was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success.

This is just the beginning.

The celebration continues.
