Stage 1 Fire Restrictions Remain in Effect

Recent moisture has provided some welcome relief, but fire conditions can change quickly. Please continue to use good Fire Sense when visiting the park.

* Know the current restrictions
* Be cautious with fire and flames
* Never leave a fire unattended
* Make sure campfires are completely out and cold to the touch before leaving

Let’s all do our part to help protect Wasatch Mountain State Park and our beautiful surroundings.

Stay safe.
Stay Fire Smart.

It’s raptor migration season! Look up this Wild Wednesday and see if you can spot a Swainson’s Hawk soaring overhead.

These incredible birds travel up to 14,000–17,000 miles round-trip each year, migrating all the way from North America to Argentina in South America.

During migration, they gather in huge groups called “kettles,” sometimes numbering in the hundreds or even thousands!

Keep your eyes on the sky you never know what you might spot!

Unfortunately, this year’s Apple Harvest at historic Huber Grove has been canceled.

A lack of winter snow, followed by freezing temperatures in the spring, significantly impacted this year’s apple crop, making it impossible to hold our traditional early-fall harvest event.

We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll continue to visit and enjoy Huber Grove throughout the year. We look forward to celebrating the harvest with you again in the future!
