Need a pickup for bulky items?

WFWRD’s Specialty Curbside Collection Services program is now available for residential customers.

This paid curbside service may be used for eligible items such as bagged mattresses and box springs, appliances, and automotive-sized tires.

Important reminders:
• WFWRD will contact you with your scheduled pickup date.
• Payment is required before the request can be scheduled.
• Payment must be received by Tuesday to be reviewed for that week’s pickup schedule.
• Do not place items curbside until the evening before your confirmed scheduled pickup day, or by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day.
• All mattresses and box springs must be bagged before pickup.

Our 2025 Waste Diversion & Recycling Year in Review report is now available.

This past year, our communities helped:
♻️ Recycle nearly 19,000 tons of material
🌱 Compost 5,965 tons of green waste
🍾 Recycle more than 836 tons of glass
📉 Reduce contamination rates district-wide to 19%
📊 Achieve a year-end diversion rate of 17.98%

These efforts help conserve resources, reduce landfill use, and support more sustainable communities throughout the district.
Thank you to our residents, employees, city partners, and community organizations who continue to make these programs successful.

Magna residents: Bulky Waste Public Drop-Off reservations are now available.

This program is for large household items only. It is not for regular household trash or bagged debris. Residents must be prepared to unload their own materials at the drop-off site.

Drop-Off Location: You must have an appointment to drop off items.

Available Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

New curbside pickup options are here 👇

Starting May 1, you can now schedule pickup for items that don’t belong in your regular can, including:
• Tires
• Mattresses & box springs (must be bagged at time of pickup)
• Appliances (freon + non-freon)
No more guessing what to do with bulky items—just schedule a pickup and set it at the curb once your pickup date has been confirmed.

🚨 Heads up from WFWRD 🚨

You may have received an email from our new payment provider, Point & Pay (PNP) (from noreply+[email protected]
). It’s legitimate, but we officially go live May 4, 2026.

⏳ Until then, continue using Xpress Bill Pay. After May 4, it will no longer be available, and all customers will need to use the new system.

🔄 If you use AutoPay, you’ll need to re-enroll in Point & Pay (settings do not transfer). You can click “ACTIVATE” now to get set up.

✅ No additional transaction fees
📧 Duplicate activation emails are normal—no need to register twice
