Folks, we will be celebrating America250 in July. Our great country will celebrate 250 years after we proclaimed our independence from Great Britain.
There are going to be a lot of people in the media downplaying this significant milestone. There will also be people explaining how we need to control our actions, go easy on the celebration and keep our fireworks display limited.
I’m here to say, they need to S**U. We only turn 250 years old once. Have your celebrations, pop your fireworks. Show the rest of the US that We Are Texas!!! We are Greenwood!!!
We will not encumber anyone who is celebrating our 250th birthday. We are here to protect our community while you celebrate!
We do ask that if a fire develops at your site, call 911 immediately so we can get there and prevent any damage to your or your neighbors property.
Mind the law, pop your fireworks legally, and have a great time!
Remember also, we will be cooking a pancake breakfast on July 4th, so after a night of celebrating, come eat breakfast with us.
I look forward to seeing you at our pancake breakfast and out in the community as we patrol around our district.
PS. If you see one of our trucks out there working to protect our community, keep in mind we would never turn down a burger, ribs, steak, chicken, pork or any other kind of food.
