Carnegie Library of Midland The Carnegie Library has provided continuous service to residents of Midland, Pennsylvania, and its surrounding areas since April of 1916.

Alongside our large collection of books, we offer DVDs, audiobooks, music CDs, public computers & laptops and free Wi-Fi access, as well as a selection of local newspapers and popular magazines. We also host regular children's programs, such as Story Time and Lego Club.

Dolly Parton was a tireless champion of the importance of reading, and her Imagination Library has gifted over 314 million books to children worldwide. The Carnegie Library of Midland has created a display in honor of Dolly and her legacy (including the books shown below plus more). Dear Midland Residents and those who travel through town for work,

Schools will be coming back in session here over the next couple of weeks. please pay attention to how to proceed when a bus has its lights and stop sign out. The penalty for not following the rules, pretending to stop buses can be very severe. Thank you, and we look forward to another successful school year.
