FYI-- a private number is calling people claiming to be from the Sherriff's Department and you skipped jury duty now there's a warrant for you. This is a SCAM! The court system would send you an official letter saying you missed it. Do not give information to the caller.

Road commission has said that the construction on Poseyville rd is to work on storm drains and resurface the road. Project to go until August.

Spring clean up is upon us. Because we live in the township we are allowed to burn our yard waste. That said you must first go to the DNR website https://www.dnr.state.mi.us/burnpermits/ and see if you are allowed to start a fire. If not then please don't. The DNR website is very well maintained please use it often before burning.

There will be an election in May but it is only for Midland Public School residents. Please don't feel you are being left out, we are only sending information to those that live in the Midland Public School portion of our Township. Thank you

Green For Life, our trash company is changing our Wednesday pickup dates permanently to Thursdays, starting November 7th. Please have your trash and recycle out by 6:30am on Thursdays for all you who were Wednesday pickup. All of Midland Township will now be collected on Thursdays!! If the holiday falls on the Thursday then it's a Friday. Thank you

FYI: Those that live on Stewart Rd between Poseyville and Patterson. Please have your trash/recycle out tonight! GFL is going to try to pickup before they start paving tomorrow morning. If they dont' get it then they will try for Thursday to get just that section. Everyone else is normal.
