Midland Mentors

Midland Mentors Midland Mentors is a program of Midland Kids First, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

The program is housed from and serves the students of the Midland County Juvenile Care Center. Mentorship has been scientifically proven to be beneficial to the lives of youth, especially those who are facing challenges. Midland Mentors seeks to provide mentorship opportunities to the youth of Midland County's Juvenile Care Center by recruiting and training adult mentors who would like to serve and lead by example.

A Special Invitation for Veterans

Veterans Day Celebration 2017
We would like to cordially invite YOU to celebrate Veterans Day 2017 here at Midland High on Friday, November 10th.
We would like to invite men and women from all ranks of all branches to come celebrate Veterans Day with us and share their unique stories with our students. We welcome those currently serving and those who are retired from military service. Our students can invite family, friends, and neighbors who have served and/or are currently serving.
All Veterans are welcome to dress in military attire and/or bring any memorabilia, pictures, awards, and medals with them that they would like to show and share with the staff & students of Midland High. We would like to have enough Veterans available to meet and speak with students from different classes throughout the day.
The Class Schedule is below. We welcome Veterans for one class period, a few classes, and/or the whole day! Thank you for allowing us all an opportunity to celebrate Veterans!
1st Hour: 7:45-8:30
2nd Hour: 8:45-9:30
3rd Hour: 9:45-10:40
4th Hour: 11-11:45
5th Hour: 12:30-1:15
6th Hour: 1:30-2:20
7th Hour: 2:30-3:25
