Midland County celebrated Kindness Week, and Pine River students were busy spreading kindness in many meaningful ways. Special highlights included showing kindness to our community by donating new gloves, mittens, and socks to the local shelter; finding comfort in kindness with comfy clothes and hot cocoa; participating in a kindness walk-a-thon; and sharing kindness through art.
A big thank you to Ms. Monique and the 5th grade team for planning such a thoughtful and engaging week.
We would also like to thank Mr. Kevin and our incredible lunch room staff. They were so helpful and supportive.

Midland County celebrated Kindness Week this week. Creekers for a Cause teamed up with PeerLIFT to spread kindness within our high school. Special highlights for the week included kindness cocoa with decorated cups, clips for kindness with inspiring messages, and popcorn with special kindness messages on the bags. “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” ~Aesop

A big thank you to our amazing Family Intervention Specialist, Ms. Nicole Madlem, and School Counselor, Mrs. Annette Clapp, for hosting our very first Coffee & Conversations for our families at BCEL! We loved the time spent connecting, sharing, and learning together. 💛
