Friends of the Midland Park Memorial Library

Friends of the Midland Park Memorial Library is a nonprofit organization that supports the community library to supplement programming and equipment.

The mission of the Friends of the Midland Park Memorial Library is to help our library maintain its place as a valuable community asset and keep pace with advances in information technology. We raise funds to supplement the regular library budget, making it possible for patrons to enjoy a wider range of materials, special programs and equipment. We also endeavor to raise awareness of the library’s

unique resources which includes a comprehensive collection of literature and reference materials in a variety of media and the services of an outstandingly knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly staff.

Our 2025 Community Day Beer Garden is just 2 weeks away! Join our most popular fundraiser of the year by purchasing presale wristbands at the link in our bio, or at the circulation desk at the library (cash or check only). Buy early and save $5! 🍻

The children’s librarian, Miss Emily, will also have a special area next to the beer garden for the younger family members to hang out, with fun fall activities!

We can’t wait to hang out with you, and all proceeds from the event go directly to supporting our community library.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You will NOT be served the day of the event unless you provide a government issued ID at the entrance to the beer garden. Absolutely no exceptions.

Join us this Thursday for our monthly meeting! We will be hard at work finalizing the beer garden details for next month. We are always looking for event volunteers!

We will also be working on our jewelry sale set for December, discussing funds to purchase new library materials, and brainstorming how to support our wonderful community library!

Finally, a massive thank you to our 2025 Summer Concert Series Marquee Sponsor, the Midland Park Chamber of Commerce!!

Last night was a wrap on this summer’s series! It was a fantastic run with over 400 attendees across the three concerts, and absolutely perfect weather each night. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
