I was contacted to help woth the following situation. Please contact Emily directly for more information :

I have a little guy who is already born so has fragile X. He is African American. His birth family would prefer a African American family meaning one or both parents, another child in the family is African American or even extended family. Birth mom would prefer a Christian family who has a prayer life and is actively involved in a church. But most of all she's looking for a family equipped to care for a child with special needs. Any marital status and any sexual orientation is okay.

I closed the adoption agency in 2018 and then the referral business in 2023 but that doesn’t stop my passion to continue!!

I had the greatest pleasure and joy to help some great parents adopt this little guy!! So so many “God things” happened during the process and I truly believe God put me right where I needed to be.

I am so very blessed to have been a part of God’s work in this little guys life!!

Good morning all

Just needed to let you know that the referral service has permanently closed as of the 10th of October.

We struggled through covid and had hoped things would go back to what they were but with the change in abortion laws, the morning after pill being over the counter and not sure what else adoption placements have continued to decrease. Because of that the professionals I worked with had plenty of families in their programs that reaching out to get referrals was not necessary.

I’ve ran the referral service for 25 years and 17 of that was a licensed child placing agency- God has blessed me through my years and I am thankful!!

Our web site will be going down soon however I will be keeping this page active. I would love to continue to help in adoption so please if you need something reach out!!

I am posting this as a heads up… if you work with this agency you should check every detail of the adoption. Everything in writing and overseen.

Heart and Soul Adoptions' owner lost her license in 2018 after state regulators discovered “repeated and chronic violations” of state law — including some a judge called “potentially criminal." She recently opened a new agency, and some past clients are concerned.

Finally, It looks like the problem between our server and gmail has been fixed!! It only took 3 people to figure it out. But it appears to be working again.

I will be resending acceptance emails to those that registered with us while we had the issue!! So sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused.

To those that are already registered, you did not miss anything as I was calling those that met the requirements for any situations we were presented to assist with.

Thank you for your understanding and patients while we worked out this glitch. No one is happier then us!!

I have someone working on my issue with gmail not accepting my email - It's a techy thing that I do not understand but it should be fixed by the end of week - so those that have filled out a registration or communicated with me from a gmail account -- I will get back to you as soon as I can when this is fixed!!
