The Middletown Teachers Association along with the MTAO, MSNA, MECCA, LAMS, Food Services and CSEA hosted a Meet the Board of Education Candidates Night to hear from the candidates and learn about their individual visions for the school district.

NYSUT Representative Assembly Day 2 began with a Q&A with the New York State Education Department, a general assembly, a speech from Randi Weingarten and an address from NYSUT President Melinda Person.

Our MTA President and Vice Presidents are spending the weekend learning and representing us at the NYSUT Representative Assembly.

They also met up with fellow a fellow union leaders to network and share ideas. Our local is making strides to build solidarity in the Hudson Valley.
