Today, we remember and honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the brave men and women who gave everything while answering the call.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and civilians who never made it home. We also remember the families, friends, and loved ones who continue to carry their loss.

May we never forget their sacrifice, their courage, and the lasting impact they left on our nation and our fire service.

Please join us today in remembering and praying for all those who lost loved ones on September 11th.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Our members are proud to have a piece of World Trade Center steel in a memorial garden at the station.

This past week, FF Smith attended the National Honor Guard Academy, hosted by the CT Fire Academy. An Honor Guard is used for funeral services, ceremonies, and other important events throughout public safety departments.
