At Tuesday night’s Common Council meeting, Mayor Joseph DeStefano, and the entire Common Council celebrated those recognized at the Orange County 44th Annual Youth and Adult Award Ceremony from June 4th. The Middletown Recreation Department nominated youth, staff, collaborators and businesses for the Annual Orange County Youth Bureau Award. Congratulations to the winners.

At last night’s Common Council meeting, Mayor Joseph DeStefano, and the entire Common Council celebrated the 2026 Girls Flag Football Team. They won two consecutive Section 9 Championships, Won the Regional Championship, and advance to the NYS Public High School Athletic Association State Final 4. Congratulations to the Team and Coaching Staff, Head Coach Michael Conklin and Coach Raul Colon, in recognition of a historic and outstanding season! Congratulations team!
