Osman Kamara, is the current elected district Leader for Dauphin County Democratic Committee (DCDC) Legislative District 106. He is a Youth Program Specialist for Dauphin County for the past 15 years providing safety, security and programming that helps youths gain knowledge and skills to become productive and law abiding members of their communities. He is a licensed Minister and member of clergy
in good standing of Worship Center Ministers Network, Liaison, Conference Speaker; he educates, motivates, leads, inspires, organizes and coordinates mission trips with Horizons of Hope Mission. He is the assistant chairman for Arms Around Africa, a Central Pennsylvania mission organization providing support for schools, orphanages, clinics and churches, coordinating relief efforts aboard, shipping and distributions of donated items. Osman graduated with High Honors from Harrisburg Area Community College, with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice in 1997. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, was a member of his College Student Government and is recognized in the Who is Who directory of American Two Year Colleges. Presently he is the membership director for Sierra Leone policy watch a policy think tank group in the Washington D.C area. Osman is a student at Lancaster Bible College, graduating in December 2012, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Osman has been married to Barbara Kamara, for 16 years and he is a proud father of two children; Osman, age 14 and Sierra, age 11. Osman is actively involved in his community, raising a family, contributing to the Socio-Economic, political and cultural diversity of his community, Dauphin County and Pennsylvania. Osman is a Democrat. He believes in people over politics! Osman is fiscally conscious and mindful of our moral, ethical and social responsibilities to our families and communities. He is mindful of the need to address our local, State and national debts but also believes in responsible investments in our future generations, our Children, he wants them to be well prepared for the challenges ahead. He believe the environment is entrusted to us by God in custody for the next generation, if we cannot add value to it let us protect it for the next generation, it is the moral thing to do. This is not a liberal or conservation thing it is the RESPONSIBLE THING of all Americans who understands and respect the value upon which this nation was built.
