Threads of Hope is a community-run clothing bank run & supported by volunteers, caring individuals, churches, businesses & organizations who want to serve others in need. The clothing bank was founded in 2011 by Katie Housman and continues to help serve others year round. Clothing is distributed from churches or other satillite locations surrounding the storage unit. With the unending support & do
nations from local churches, business, & organizations as well as the countless individuals & volunteers who help donate, sort and distribute clothes; individuals and families are able to use this service to help supplement their needs in these tough economic times. Threads of Hope will provide clothing to ANYONE with clothing needs. Transportation Services are NOT available but can be coordinated through local churches, community action centers, etc. PLEASE NOTE: Threads of Hope is NOT affiliated with Londonderry Self Storage Unit. All inquires for clothing needs or about the clothing bank itself need to be made directly with the Threads of Hope Coordinators by calling 717.944.0341 or through the supporting churches, organizations, food banks, etc. Threads of Hope is run exclusively on donations from individuals, churches, businesses & community organizations. Volunteers provide the inventory, helping hands & names of person in need. ALL INQUIRIES ARE TREATED WITH THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CONFIDENTIALITY. Volunteers & volunteer groups also provide support by donating their help & word of mouth advertising to sort & support this service.
