On Sunday, June 7th, Prevention Specialists Ang Figueroa & Samantha Marrone ran the Girls on the Run 5k. For the past 10 weeks, Ang and Sam met with the girls to teach them about making good decisions, working with friends, understanding their emotions, communicating, and working on a community project.

ADAC wholeheartedly supported this impactful evidence-based program! Congratulations to team "Sweet Strawberries" and team "Pickles"! 🏃‍♀️‍➡️👟

On Thursday, May 28th, Prevention Specialist for the Goshen Central School District, Ang Figueroa handed out PROM postcards, which were created by fifth grade students at CJ Ho**er and Goshen Intermediate School. Before the mock crash at Goshen High School, the Goshen Drama Club acted out a scenario to create a story and "set the scene" before the mock crash.

The conference brought together many community members, educators, human service professionals, and parents to provide information on how to build more healthy communities!
