The 2023 Butler County GOP Lincoln Day event is a gala-style dinner. The event will include our local elected officials and our special guest, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, as the keynote. Be sure to check out our famous silent auction throughout the evening.

The event will be held at the Savannah Center in West Chester Township on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The general reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner and program to begin promptly at 7 p.m.

Tickets are in very high demand and due to this being a volunteer-run event, please be patient with us.

There are three different kinds of tickets - tables, single seats and VIP reception.

VIP TICKETS | A VIP Reception featuring special guest, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which will include a photograph with Governor DeSantis, will be held prior to the event. Doors for the VIP Reception will open at 5:15 p.m. The VIP Reception will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Single Seats | Individual tickets are available through eventbrite.com. Our single seats cost $250 - $300 depending on location. A single seat includes admission to the event, access to our Silent Auction, a seat and dinner to hear our Special Guest Governor Ron DeSantis.

Today is Election Day. The polls in Ohio are open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. Make sure you cast your ballot in this important election. Our US Senate and our Ohio Supreme Court are at stake!

Early voting began today. The Board of Elections reports that they are busy! We love to see people voting.

Help pass out slate cards during Early Voting

We have volunteers outside the Board Elections during Early Voting. These volunteers hand out slate cards and answer voter questions.

Sign-up for a shift to help pass out slate cards. The link below connects to our shift sign-up form. The shifts are morning, afternoon, and evening - all days early voting is happening.

I served as the Administrative Judge in the trial court, performing the same executive functions as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio. I have the experience to step into this new role and am excited and willing to do so.

Get ready for the 2022 General Election. Our Butler County GOP slate card is below. We also have two statewide Constitutional issues on the ballot.

Issue 1 - Proposed Constitutional Amendment
To require courts to consider factors like public safety when setting the amount of bail. Proposed by Joint Resolution of the General Assembly to amend Section 9 of Article I of the Constitution of the State of Ohio

The proposed amendment would:
• Require Ohio courts, when setting the amount of bail, to consider public safety, including the seriousness of the offense, as well as a person's criminal record, the likelihood a person will return to court, and any other factor the Ohio General Assembly may prescribe.
• Remove the requirement that the procedures for establishing the amount and conditions of bail be determined by the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Issue 2 - Proposed Constitutional Amendment
To prohibit local government from allowing non-electors to vote. Proposed by Joint Resolution of the General Assembly To amend Section 1 of Article V, Section 3 of Article X, and Section 3 of Article XVIII of the Constitution of the State of Ohio.

The proposed amendment would:
• Require that only a citizen of the United States, who is at least 18 years of age and who has been a legal resident and registered voter for at least 30 days, can vote at any state or local election held in this state.
• Prohibit local governments from allowing a person to vote in local elections if they are not legally qualified to vote in state elections.
