Working with CBI’s Industry Sector Program students on JA High School Heroes was so fun! The students were so thoughtful, engaged, and supportive of each other. We were happy to present them with achievement certificates and to bring them food from The Slice and Central Pastry. We hope they have a great summer interning!

Junior Achievement and CBI teamed up to run a 'JA High School Heroes' simulation with our RISE Leadership Academy! This program teaches students what it's like to be department heads of a city. Students had to come up with a budget plan for their city and present it to the "council". Thank you Mayor Elizabeth Slamka for teaching our students how council meetings work and encouraging them to feel comfortable speaking publicly!
