Last weekend we had a GREAT star gazing night at Shenandoah County Park. Lots of visitors were able to view Jupiter, the Pleiades, the Orion Nebula and more. What a great way to kick off the 2026 outreach season.

Thank goodness we have a break in the cold weather. Tomorrow evening promises to be delightful. Cool temperatures and absolutely clear skies. Wouldn't it be a great night for stargazing!

So join us at Shenandoah County Park near Maurertown. We'll be showing folks fantastic views of Jupiter. Oh, and other starry things too.

See you there, behind the tennis courts. We'll be setting up at sundown around 7:30.
