I have always believed that the people of Wallkill deserve a government that is present, accountable, and working for them every single day.
After reviewing the court filings in the case of Middletown Property Holdings LLC. v. Town of Wallkill Town Board, I have serious concerns. According to the court’s findings, the Town did not lose this case because of the facts it lost because no one appeared to properly respond on behalf of the Town within the required deadlines. The consequence is significant: the Town has now lost its ability to have its position heard regarding the type of apartment development that may be built on this property. That is a decision with long-term implications for our community, and our residents deserve to know how it happened.
Our residents deserve answers.
When important legal matters affecting our Town arise, taxpayers expect their government to be engaged, prepared, and protecting their interests. That’s not asking too much it’s the basic responsibility of leadership.
This is exactly why I continue to say:
Wallkill deserves a Full-Time Supervisor.
That isn’t just a campaign slogan. It’s a commitment to being present, accountable, and treating the office with the full-time attention it deserves.
If elected, I will work every day to restore transparency, accountability, and confidence in Town Hall. Our residents deserve leadership that shows up, protects the interests of taxpayers, and never lets important matters go unanswered.
Wallkill deserves nothing less.
