Notice is hereby given that the unaudited Cash Basis Annual Financial Report of Madison Township, Butler County, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 2025, has been completed and is available for public inspection at the Township Administration Building located at 5610 West Alexandria Road, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the report will be provided upon request.

MADISON TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE PUBLIC HEARING

The Madison Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM for the purpose of discussing the tax budget for FY2027.

The meeting will be held at the Madison Township Administration Building, 5610 West Alexandria Road, Middletown, OH, 45042.

Madison Township has signed an agreement with Constellation New Energy to be the next electric aggregation supplier starting with the July 2026 bill and expiring on the December 2027 bill.

Electric utilities in Ohio reset their generation rates every June. Duke's rate starting in June is going to be 10.7¢ per kWh and AES's rate starting in June is going to be 10.856¢ per kWh.

Here are the Rates for the Township's aggregation program starting with the July 2026 bill and continuing through the December 2027 bill.

Duke customers: 9.77¢ per kWh and AES customers: 9.392¢

What do I need to do?

If you receive a letter in late May and want to be part of the program, you don't need to do anything.

If you receive a letter in late May and do not want to be part of the program, follow the directions on the letter to opt out.

There are no termination fees and you can leave the program at any time.

If you never want to be considered for the electric aggregation program, you can put your information on the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), Do Not Aggregate list. Madison Township’s current electric aggregation program ends with your July 2026 bill. A new program will begin on our August 2026 bill and run through December 2027 bill. Below are the supplier selections and rates for each utility service area:

Trenton Franklin Rd construction crews and equipment are increased on the north end of the project site ALL THIS WEEK and possibly into next week.

The road is closed to through traffic; however, there will be long delays for residential traffic.

Madison Township would like to let residents know that Ecoshield Pest Solutions has received a transient vendor license to conduct door-to-door sales in the township.
The license is valid for 90 days from today’s approval date, and all representatives are required to carry a copy of their vendor license with them while soliciting.
